After my studies in German philosophy and literature, I started as a concept artist in the class of Klaus
Böhmler at the Academy of Fine Art (Lerchenfeld) in Hamburg. Drawn by my wish to refine my painting skills I
studied in the class of Daniel Spoerri in Munich dedicating myself mainly to drawing, maily of nudes.
Finally I finished my studies at the École des Beaux-Arts of Paris under Leonardo Cremonini and
Pierre Caron, researching the means of shadow, light and color as formulated by the Renaissance masters. For
years I created photo collages to explore the female body in the time of print media. Having lived and
worked in Los Angeles for ten years, I lately on my return to Germany I have been dedicating my work to
landscapes, mainly entanglement of trees.
